Surfing Jaws Video ~ Clear & dry ~ Lava Flow Inflation
Clear skies and a warm Trade Wind for all Hawaii Islands today -- so nice after such a long stretch of cold rain and winds.
Same with the volcano in a way; after a week of very low lava pressure coming out of Kilauea Volcano’s magma chambers, a strong inflation has kicked back in. This should translate as more visible molten lava activity down along the coast and shoreline lava entry points around Waikupanaha.
This amateur video clip of surfers taking on some of the huge ocean swells we had the past few days really does show what the infamous JAWS surf spot on Maui got out of those storm-generated waves.
